Meet Danielle Brown

Danielle Brown joined Volition Capital in 2024 as an Associate.

Prior Experience & Education

  • Before joining Volition, Danielle Brown worked as a private equity associate at Audax Private Equity in Boston. She worked on Audax’s deal team as a generalist, partnering with existing portfolio companies and executing new investments.
  • She received her B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
  • Danielle played field hockey at Middlebury College, where she served as a captain and is a four-peat NESCAC and NCAA Division III National Champion.
  • In addition to playing field hockey, Danielle was a research assistant to the Political Science Department.

  • She was raised in Needham, MA, a suburb of Boston, where her family still lives. During the summer, Danielle spends most of her time in Cape Cod and enjoys being near the ocean.
  • Danielle debated pursuing an art history major at Middlebury, driven by her personal interest in historical art and architecture. She loves to visit local museums when traveling and her favorite museum that she has visited is the MusĂ©e d’Orsay in Paris, France.
  • While Danielle is now a retired athlete, she enjoys running outdoors and hopes to run the Boston marathon one day.
