Sean is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Volition Capital where he co-leads the software investment team. Sean’s current board directorships and investments include Assent, Automatiq, Black Kite, Cohora, Creatio, GRAX, Hackajob, Millions, One Day, TraceLink, and Zenarate. His past board directorships and investments include JazzHR (acquired by K1), Visual IQ (acquired by Nielsen), GlobalTranz (acquired by The Jordan Company), iPipeline (acquired by Thoma Bravo), G5 Search Marketing (acquired by Peak Equity), Ping Identity (PING), GeoLearning (acquired by SumTotal), Velocify (acquired by Ellie Mae) and EnterpriseDB (acquired by Peak Equity). Prior to co-founding Volition Capital in 2010, Sean was an investor at Fidelity Ventures and Summit Partners. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
