We are thrilled to share that Volition Capital VP, Melanie Jordan, has been named to the list of Top Women Leaders in Growth Investing of 2024 by GrowthCap.
Please see the excerpt on Melanie Jordan from GrowthCap below:
Melanie Jordan is a Vice President on Volition Capital’s Software team with expert knowledge in the enterprise SaaS industry. She has a comprehensive inside view of how successful SaaS companies are built, led and grown from having worked at annual internships at Evergage (now a Salesforce company) and Litmus. This institutional knowledge provided Melanie with a great perspective as she now evaluates SaaS companies as an outside investor.
In 2023 she closed four investments, deploying $108M of total capital, including Volition Capital’s largest deal to date: a $58M investment in Digital Onboarding. In 2023, Melanie also led three other technology investments: Zenarate, HALO, and HAAS Alert.
Melanie’s educational background includes a summa cum laude B.S. in business management from Babson College. Prior to joining Volition, she was a senior analyst in technology investment banking at Aeris Partners and a technology investor with Summit Partners.
“We’ve made great strides at Volition Capital this year, diving deeper into the software space and investing in companies that make a tangible impact in their respective industries. This was a breakout year for our team and this accolade reflects the hard work and support of my colleagues at Volition. The achievements and perseverance of the women with whom I share this honor set a high bar, and I am proud to be among such a distinguished group of growth equity leaders.” – Melanie Jordan
